The Role: Infrastructure Lead
As an Infrastructure Lead at Leafcloud, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our infrastructure to support our green cloud services. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure, leveraging technologies such as OpenStack, CEPH, and Linux. Your deep expertise in networking, including BGP, firewalls, and ACLs, will be essential in optimizing our network architecture and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain our infrastructure using technologies such as OpenStack and CEPH, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance
- Optimize and secure our network architecture, including BGP routing, firewalls, and access control lists (ACLs), to protect our systems and data from threats
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, including server provisioning, configuration management, and performance tuning
- Coordinate collaboration with suppliers and work with our internal cross-functional team to drive alignment and integration of infrastructure solutions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in infrastructure management, with a strong focus on OpenStack, CEPH, networking, and Linux
- Deep understanding of networking principles and protocols, including BGP, firewalls, ACLs, and VLANs
- Proficiency in Linux system administration, including shell scripting, package management, and performance monitoring
- Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives forward
- At least a Bachelor's degree or more in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
