What’s Coming to Leafcloud in 2026

We’ve been heads-down building, meanwhile 2026 is shaping up to be a exciting year. We figured you could use an update that doesn’t require a deep breath first. Here’s what we’ve been working on, and what you can expect to see us rolling out over the coming months.

Next-Generation GPU Compute

NVIDIA’s Blackwell RTX PRO 6000 Server Edition GPUs are coming to Leafcloud. If you’re running AI inference, media pipelines, or accelerated analytics, this gives you access to serious compute power on European, climate-positive infrastructure.

We’ll share availability details soon. If you want early access, get in touch.

Managed Database Services

We’re adding managed databases to our platform, starting with MySQL and PostgreSQL. No more wrestling with backups, patching, and high-availability configurations. We’ll handle the infrastructure so you can focus on your applications.

These are the two we’re launching with Let us know if you’re interested and what you’d like to see next.

Sovereign Services for the Public Sector

For public sector organizations looking to incorporate AI into their operations, or simply modernize their infrastructure without the compliance headaches, we’re expanding our Managed Kubernetes offering.

Besides the current built-in GPU orchestration, we’re also working with pioneer municipalities and our parnter KubeDNA on a proof-of-concept program, bringing Haven-compliant cloud governance and automated compliance tooling to Dutch local government. If your organization is navigating BIO, ENSIA, or NIS2 requirements while trying to innovate, this is built for you. Find out more about the POC program and sign up here

Faster Core Infrastructure

Our engineering team is upgrading the core platform with faster storage and improved networking. The kind of improvements you’ll notice when your applications respond quicker and your data moves faster, without having to change anything on your end.

OpenStack Upgrade Path

We’re bringing our OpenStack deployment up to the current stable release by summer. For those keeping score, this means better security, improved performance, and access to the latest features from the OpenStack community. Standard open-source infrastructure, no proprietary lock-in—exactly how it should be.

A New Hub

We’re making strides towards our second region. More European infrastructure, more options for redundancy and data residency, same climate-positive model. We’ll have more to share as plans solidify.

Come Find Us

We’ll be at CloudFest and KubeCon this year! Stop by, meet the team, grab some merch, and let us buy you a beer. We’re also planning something a bit different at some locations we’re genuinely excited about. Can’t say more yet, but keep an eye out. We promise it’ll be worth it.

New Partnerships and Alliances

We’re working with some interesting organizations on collaborations we’re genuinely excited about. We’ll share more as these develop, but expect announcements throughout the year.

That’s what’s on the horizon. Some of it’s ready now, some of it’s coming soon, and some of it we’re keeping quiet until we can show you properly. Either way, 2026 is going to be a good year to be building on Leafcloud.
