Helaas leidt dit ook tot greenwashing: de schijn om milieuvriendelijk te zijn, maar in feite weinig tot niets doen om de impact op het milieu echt te verminderen.

Op 5 januari 2023 is de Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) van kracht geworden. Dat betekent voor grote en beursgenoteerde MKB-bedrijven dat ze niet meer alleen over financiën moeten rapporteren, maar ook over de impact van hun handelen op het milieu en mensen.

OpenStack Magnum uses Podman to provision core containers for a Kubernetes cluster (for example: API, schedule, etcd, Kublet, and manager) and runs all of those containers as system services. Running a distributed system is a safe and efficient way to maximize uptime at scale, but manually installing and managing Kubernetes clusters can be extremely time-consuming and purchasing it as a service can be prohibitively expensive.
